Introducing a full-time member of our staff:
Miss Biange,
Gifted Resource Teacher

Miss Biange is excited to return to Linkhorn Park this year! She is an experienced teacher who has been in the field for eight years. This is her fifth year in the Virginia Beach City Public school system. Prior to working in Virginia Beach, she taught in Norfolk Public Schools. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Human Services Counseling and has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Old Dominion University. Miss Biange’s endorsements include regular education pre-K-5 and a Gifted Education endorsement. She is looking forward to another great year at Linkhorn Park E.S. |

Introducing a new part-time member of our staff:
Mrs. Darnell , Gifted Resource Teacher
|

Mrs. Darnell will be accompanying Ms. Biange as a 3-day gifted resource teacher for grades K-2. She returns to Linkhorn Park after teaching third grade here from 1987-1999. She spent seven years working as a teacher consultant and mentor via Old Dominion University’s Tidewater Writing Project and Norfolk Public Schools. She also served as gifted resource teacher at Seatack Elementary. Mrs. Darnell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Development from Virginia Tech and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University. She is currently continuing graduate work in gifted education at the University of Virginia. |
